2 Art Shows...

So Hayden is just our little artist in the family.

On February 15th his work was entered in

Rock the Art

A Celebration of Arts Education in Castle Rock.

Then from Feb 26-Mar 4 his work will

be in the Douglas County School District

Annual School Art Show.

So it's always said, you find things when you least

expect it. Very true!!! Today I go into the

Dollar Store(oh and not a fav of mine) and I see

Diet cause he's Type 1 just like me so I was

excited to give it a try finally. Not bad!!

A few weeks ago my best friend came up to CO

to visit me... her and I are both HUGE B. Michaels fans.

As we recover from a day up in the mountains skiing she gets

a text pic from her husband and it says "check this out"?

We didnt know if this was a joke or not....it wasnt.

Something New...

So we dont have In and Out Burger here in CO...

but we do have

Five Guys Hamburgers and Fries.

We had never tried this but my MIL is here and she

told us all about it. WELL, it's awesome and

very yummy!!

So the kids came home with a letter from the school Principal

and it reminded everyone of the meaning of

Valentine's Day.

The school has asked that the kids to hand make there

Valentine's to pass out and to NOT to be store bought or include any candy "on them"!

So after explaining to Hayden what we can and can't do he said,

Mom, lets make something that looks like a lollipop but I want it to be

something about sports(no surprise)" Hmmm well you are seeing our craft that we made.

The stick is a Colorado Rockies pencil with a saying that goes

with it. We/I made 28 of them and I think they will be liked.

Just like a lot of other kids Hayden

celebrated his 100th day of school today. This day was suppose to be this past Tues

but do to a few "snow days" it was today.
