GRANDPA!!!!

Today AJ finished his USS Nautilus model(a gift from Grandpa and Marie) and he did a AWESOME job putting it together. How about that paint job Grandpa? Not so bad for a rookie.I Love you and thank you for an AWESOME gift!!! If anyone knows AJ...then you know that he just loves anything that has to do with Submarines and the US Navy.

Snowboarding at Copper Mountain

Today AJ(the next "Flying Tomato") and his buddy Nick spent the entire day snowboarding(the weather was perfect). Both boys start their 8 week session in a few weeks so why not get a few runs in before. AJ just LOVES it and his season pass gets put to GOOD use.

It's nice to have a day off during the week, that allows me to be avaiable to help out the kids at school. AJ had his "holiday" party on friday. However, after helping out for 1 1/2 hrs(first time this yr with 4th graders) I must say I had a BLAST observing and just listening to there conversations....HILARIOUS, CUTE and INTERESTING!!!!

I had a great time!!!

Tonight Hayden had fun putting together his gift for Teagan. Yes, she is the name

he picked in class. That meant going to get a "girl" gift he said!!!

I've been told by everyone that Brookelyn likes AJ and yes she is adorable and a great girl.

They are all in class together and have been for 2yrs now but, WOW they're just getting older and It's just hard to believe !!!

Off to school....brrrrr!!!!

This morning I took AJ to the bus stop due to the temp being 12 degrees and Hayden I drove. It will start to warm up and tomorrow it will be close to 33...I guess that's warm when compared to the last two days.
Not a ton of snow with this "Canadian arctic" blast, but just brrrrrr cold along with some ice.

Tree is done!!!

The Christmas tree is finally done and took a bit longer than usual. The old bows were retired and I made new ones this year. Justin sets the tree up for me and I(the boys also) do the rest. I really really wanted a real one this year but maybe next. Yes, a real tree can be a bit messy... I know. I just love the fresh pine smell and I dont have to worry about it drying out...not here in CO.

Now I'm off to finish my xmas cards!!

Star Lighting in Castle Rock

Tonight was the annual Star Lighting on top of "Castle Rock" and it was a beautiful night for it. It's the kick off to the HOLIDAY SEASON and no one wants to miss it. Clancy's and the Osborn's all went and we had a great time!!

After the lighting everyone (19 of us) headed to dinner and to celebrate Gwen's birthday. Happy Birthday....we had a great time.

Tonight Hayden and only a few boys from his soccer team met for pizza and to get their trophies. These boys and 5 others have been playing since they were 3yrs old. What a great bunch of kids and WOW can they play. They will continue to stay together as the "Sharks"
