Racing in AZ!!!

So Justin and I enjoyed a GREAT trip to AZ this past weekend. We not only enjoyed some GREAT Mexican food(a must since Colorado is lacking in that department BIG TIME), visiting family(thank you Bryan and Dawn for meeting up with us...glad we were able to see you both and Lily) and we also went to the Nascar Race at PIR. I've been before but this was a first for Justin. What a crowd that place brings on....I'm not so sure how to even put it in words. Our best friends from here also went to AZ for the race. So it was fun having friends with us.

Justin booked us at the Fairmont Scottsdale..AKA Scottsdale Princess and it was AMAZING!!

Tamale "making" Day!!

Making Tamales was a first for me and just so much FUN . These girls were all great and we all had such a great time. You name it, it was made(pork,chicken,beef, cheese, green chilli chicken..cheese...beef and oh the list goes on) and we all went home with 4dz.

Check-up time...Round 2

Yes....Round 2 was today but now it was AJ's turn. WOW, 10yrs old!! AJ's visit went really good and for the first time I actually waited outside the room. Haha, but I understood!!

AJ is 67.2lbs(45%)

53 1/4 in = 4 1/2ft(25%)

The doctor can see that he is very active and doesnt have an ounce of fat on him. He still seems to be a bit smaller but not by much at all.

Check-up time..Round 1

Yes...The 5yr check-up was today and Hayden did great. A few new things compared to years past. They checked his eyes and I actually had to leave cause he was making me laugh. The concentration in his eyes was just so dang cute.

He was 40.6 lbs (50%)

&

41.5 in tall = 31/2ft (25%)

My little man is getting big but still hasnt hit the 50% in height yet. So when compared to his older brother Hayden weighs a tiny bit more, but AJ was a bit taller. I say ...pretty equal! Hayden was the tiny one but has caught up pretty good. Best part for him was

NO SHOTS!!

I never thought I/we would be soooo excited to get a shot but YES all 3 of us today were lucky(with no lines) and got our H1N1 vaccination!!!!

Left arm it was and no tears from the little guy. Being high risk is NO fun but I'm so THANKFUL we were fortunate!!
